Welcome to the 2025 Modified Indoor and Spring Field Registration with St. Michael Albertville Lacrosse!!

Season specifics:

Preseason

•  Boys Preseason Box: 10,12,&14U - Born between 09/01/2010 and  08/31/2016 - 
  • Practices begin in February and are Monday's and Thursday's  @ STMA DOME
  • Games are Saturday & Sundays, March & April . *Off for Easter.  Games run between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
  • Participating teams play 6 regular season games throughout March & April at conveniently located regional indoor arenas. Games run hourly on Saturdays & Sundays and consist of three 15-minute periods.
  • Registration Closes January 10th 2025 - Late Fee Applies to late registrations
• Girls Preseason Sixes:  14U - Born between 09/01/2010 and  08/31/2012
  • Practice begins in February and are Monday's and Thursday's @ STMA DOME
  • 6 Games across 5 Sundays,  starting in February through March. Games run between 8-4PM
  • Games are played at NSC Sports Hall:  1700 105th Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55449
  • Registration Closes January 10th 2025 - Late Fee Applies to late registrations 

• Recreational Indoor  Ages 4 - 8 (Born After 09/01/2016)
  • Players participate in a total of 4 recreational sessions where they actively participate in skill practices to teach the fundamentals of Lacrosse.  Minimal gear required. 

  • Thursdays in February and  March @ STMA DOME 

  • *8U players wishing to play competition please contact  president@stmalax.com prior to registering

  • Registration Closes 02/01/2025  

Spring Season

• Spring Field - 6U coed, 8U coed, 10U girls & boys, 12U girls & boys, 14U girls & boys 
  • Practices begin late March or early April and are Monday's and Thursday's at Middle School West Gym until outdoor fields become available. 
  • Games begin in April ,  Games primarily played on Sat/Sun with limited weekday games. No Games Memorial Day.
    • Girls GNLL state tournament - Late May or Early June (Friday - Sunday)
    • Boys GNLL state tournament - Early June (Friday - Sunday)
  • Registration Closes Feb 17th 2025 - Late Fee Applies to late registrations

Players are rostered to applicable age groups per USA Lacrosse age standards. If your player wishes to play at a different level please reach out to  president@stmalax.com prior to registering. 

• Season changes: Changes regarding games or tournaments may result in an adjustment to total fees collected. If games or tournaments are cancelled and not rescheduled, pro-rated refunds for the cancelled events will be provided at the end of the season.  
• Refunds: Full refunds will be given for those cancelling registration in advance of practices starting,  refunds after this date will be subject to a STMAYLA fee and forfeit of the mandatory Sports Engine Registration Fee.

US LACROSSE REQUIREMENT

YOU MUST REGISTER FIRST WITH US LACROSSE AND HAVE A VALID US LACROSSE NUMBER THAT EXPIRES ON OR AFTER April 1, 2025.  THEN RETURN TO THIS REGISTRATION SESSION TO SIGNUP.  IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SIGNED UP WITH US LACROSSE, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

• Step 1:  Obtain current US Lacrosse Membership
  • IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP:  CLICK HERE to go to US Lacrosse Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with US Lacrosse. Each player must have their own unique US Lacrosse confirmation number.
  • TO LOOK UP/RENEW A US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP:  CLICK HERE to go to US Lacrosse Membership Lookup.
• Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the US Lacrosse Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.

LATE FEE

Registrations received after January  10th, 2025 may be subject to a $100.00 late fee.

Late registrations may be subject to STMA LAX Board approval and will only be accepted if team rosters have not yet been filled.

Roster spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis based on the following rules:

• Residents/open enrolled in STMA School District 
• Out of district players with waiver from home association (if required by home association). No waiver is required if your home association is not running a lacrosse session for the season registered. 

Please note that completing registration does not necessarily guarantee a spot on the roster. The STMA Lacrosse Association Board will do everything we can to find spots on the roster for all who register, but cannot make any guarantees.
